Tesco shoppers will soon be able to use the first ever augmented reality service. This means that if you hold the catalogue up to your computers webcam, you will be able to see that product in life-like 3D, giving the illusion that you are holding the product in the palm of your hand. You will also be able to use the service at terminals installed across the stores.
British firm Kishono are behind this new technology, the service will also be available in many of the Tesco supermarkets. Tesco claim this new technology will allow them to save room within the stores, and help enhance the way their customers shop.
